The pouch has multiple cinch straps for secure radios or other gear. The bottom the pouch is open on the corners and the top is open with an adjustable strap to close it. I picked this pouch up specifically to put a usmc tarp and woobie in for a car kit. Venture surplus showed it on their instagram fitting them perfectly. Outside of that application the pouch is an odd shape without great retention, but it’s very well built for the money. It’s a perfect fit for my application.
Also, marpat is awesome.
