These are early generation USMC Desert MARPAT Combat Jackets. These jackets were likely some of the last jackets created before the full scale production model of the currently adopted Combat Jacket came to be. While these jackets are extremely similar to their issued counterparts there are a few differences that set them apart. On the surface level almost all of the features of the issued jacket are present such as the overall cut/design of the jacket, a full length zipper, mesh backed pockets for ventilation, zippered waist pockets, zippered chest pockets, zippered shoulder pocket, rank slot, 4 way stretch panels and adjustable sleeve cuffs. When we look deeper, we can begin to identify the differences. These jackets lack the neck gaiter in the collar, have a tan grid fleece and stretch material over coyote brown, covered zippers and feature a FREE EWOL style of fleece for the primary jacket lining. Features
