This is a kit that includes all you need to get the most out of your 1QT canteen. Each kit includes a 1 Quart Canteen, Canteen Cup, and a USGI Canteen Pouch to fit your Canteen and Cup.
The USGI canteen pouches have small pockets for water purification tabs, lighters, or whatever small items you want to keep with your water kit. The pouch is MOLLE compatible and has shock cord to keep contents secure, along with an adjustable strap. The lid can be folded inside the pouch or used to protect the canteen and left outside the pouch. If you aren’t using it for your canteen, the pouches also serve as a great General Purpose (GP) or IFAK pouch, or can even be used to fit 5 STANAGs.
The military canteen cup is a great way to boil water whether you’re cooking, making hot drinks like tea, or just need to boil water in an emergency so you don’t die of dysentery. The canteen cups are usually made of Stainless Steel but can also be found in aluminum. The winged “butterfly” handles allow for easy grip of the canteen cup and are especially useful when there is hot liquid in the cup. The handles fold up against the cup when not in use so as not to add any additional bulk.
The military canteen is pretty self explanatory, its basically a bomb proof and ergonomic way to carry 1QT of water. These plastic canteens have been trusted by the US Military for almost 60 years. In recent years the plastics used to make these have been BPA free. The canteen you will receive will be BPA free. Overall this is a great setup to add some water and a way to purify it to your kit.

Bought a “defective” multicam bundle. I don’t see what’s defective about it – looks maybe slightly used (some fading) but that’s it. Canteen and cup are 5-stars, pouch alone is also 5-stars, but minus one star for combining them only because the neck of the canteen sticks up so high from the pouch that you have to adjust the strap to almost its full length to allow the cover to get over the top of the canteen, but this leaves the neck/cap exposed from the sides. None of the pics here display that. For my purposes I don’t really care but if you were doing stuff in significantly adverse conditions you could get a lot of crud in there.
