Description
This is a pair of M1951 Field Trousers with Liner. These field trousers are the direct predecessor of the venerable M65 cold weather field trousers used by the US Military till their own replacement in the early 2000s. When looking down at these trousers it’s not hard to see the stark similarity to its more modern M65 counterpart. The M1951 field trousers feature 2 cargo, 2 hand and 2 butt pockets all secured by snap buttons. At the waistband there are hip adjusters, loops for suspenders, zippered fly and buttons for the removable wool pile liners. Finishing off at the bottom of the pant legs there are adjustable pant cuffs. Trousers include matching Mohair Frieze Liners that button in at the waist. The liners have a insulated interior with a synthetic outer to protect them. Overall these trousers a perfect for a Korean War era collector/reenactor or just someone looking for a robust pair of cold weather trousers.
