USGI Arctic 1 Quart Canteen Kit

Description

This is an Arctic Canteen set that was used in the US Military. The canteen is made for use in cold environments that would otherwise freeze water sources. The canteen is made of a aluminum outer shell with a separate stainless steel internal shell, that are separated by vacuum. The plastic canteen cap is a plunger style, to prevent frozen threads, and is secured with a lanyard to the canteen. This set includes the canteen cup specific to the arctic canteen and the ALICE compatible carrying pouch. The canteen pouch is old school heavy canvas. This is a great item for anyone that works outside for long periods in below freezing temps!

The canteen WILL NOT fit in standard issue canteen pouches!
