Description

This is a OD-7 Korean War era Overcoat with a removable wool liner, that was used in the US Military. These overcoats would’ve been used more in a dress uniform capacity rather than field wear, but they did see a bit of field use. They replaced the warm, but very heavy, Melton Wool Overcoat. Heavy duty and warm, these are great for wear when the temps are low and you’ve got to look your best. Featuring a cotton shell with a removable wool liner, waist belt, button closure pockets with pass through access and a button closure these have simple but great features.

The example we have available for sale was produced February 5th, 1952, by the Romolo DeSantis T/A D.S. Cutting and Sewing company. Size is Medium-Regular. The overall condition of this overcoat is fair. While there are no rips/tears, the overcoat does have some staining throughout.
