Description

This is a fire resistant soft shell jacket from New Balance. The zip up jacket is wind and water resistant. There are zippered waist and shoulder pockets. The cuffs are adjustable with hook and loop tabs and the cuffs are elastic as well. There are zippers at the armpit to increase air flow and help prevent overheating. This is a lightweight protective outer layer for chilly days on top of other layers. These jackets are similar to the standard Army Issue Soft shell jackets.

Features:

  • Flame Resistant – Will not catch fire when exposed to flames. It will burn but it will not drip or catch fire.
  • Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.
  • Wind Resistant – This is wind resistant which means that it helps break the wind and keep the wearer warmer.
  • Zippered Shoulder Pockets – Pockets on shoulders for storing small items with zippered closure.
  • Zippered Pockets – Pockets have a zipper closure to secure contents.
  • Zip Up Shirt – This shirt is a zip up, which means that the front is closed with a zipper.
  • Jacket Zippered Armpits – Armpits on jacket have zippers to help with ventilation and cooling down.
