Description
This is a IFAK insert used in US Army Individual First Aid Kits. The insert securely holds he medical components inside the IFAK and allows the user access to them when pulled out. There are elastic bands in insert to hold supplies. The insert folds up around the supplies and secures shut with hook and loop flaps.
Inserts DO NOT include shock cord bungie for attaching to pouch!

Super easy to use and open under stress. I feel like it doesn’t need a pouch because it closes very well on its own. This also allows it to fit into a variety of pockets easily, based on how much stuff is inside. Its a fantastic organizer for all kinds of every day carry items. I’ve gone through a lot of bags and pouches and this is the best solution to quick and intuitive access to medical supplies.

Recently purchased one of these IFAK inserts in foliage in used condition to satisfy those dogs at CIF for my final equipment turn in. For being labeled “used” it is in great shape; velcro still adheres fine, no pinholes, elastic isn’t worn out. Almost a shame I have to turn it in. It’s genuine military surplus.
