Description
These are improved rain suit trousers from ORC Industries. They are similar to the USGI Improved Rain Suit Pants, but with minor changes and improvements from ORC. Intended to be worn over the combat uniform pants or cold weather layers, these pants have pocket access flaps that close with button snaps, and the bottom half of the legs unzip for easy donning and doffing, secured by hook and loop at the bottom. The pants are lightweight and easily packable. Overall these are great pants to keep you warm and dry, especially when you’re staying in one spot for a while.
Features:
- Waist Drawstring – These pants have a drawstring that allows the wear to adjust the waist to the perfect size.
- Zippered Pants – Pants crotch is zippered.
- Pass Through Pocket Flaps – Open Flap pockets for reaching through and accessing layers worn underneath.
- Adjustable Pants Cuffs – Pants cuffs are adjustable with drawstrings, hook and loop tabs or other methods.
- Woodland Camo Pattern – Created and issued from 1981 onwards. Based on the ERDL camo patterns used throughout the Vietnam War and afterwards, specifically the 2nd pattern ERDL, RDF ERDL. The biggest change over earlier ERDL patterns was the enlargement of the patterns and shapes found in ERDL. The colors were also the same with light green, dark green and brown being used. Black would be used in twig shapes across the base colors. Woodland Camo is commonly referred to just as BDU or M81. M81 is an unofficial name for Woodland Camo that comes from its adoption date, 1981. It was used across the US Military till individual service branches replaced it with modern camo patterns.
