Description
This is a pair of Xtreme Pants from Tru-Spec. These are great combat pants with a ton of pockets and organization. In addition to the reinforced textured padding integrated into the knees of the pants, they also open on the inside to accept kneepad inserts for additional protection. The Cargo pockets are dual- access with a divider, and feature a water bottle slot in the main cargo pocket. The waist pockets also include dividers for knives or multitools, and another for larger items like cell phones. These pants unzip at the bottom and in addition to all the pockets, include a loop for attaching lanyards or carabiners to keep important items from getting away.
Features:
- Multicam – Originally design in the early 2000’s as a competitor to UCP, Multicam was passed over after the selection of UCP. Even with UCP being adopted the camo would still see widespread use by special operations forces across the US Military in Iraq and Afghanistan. As UCP was found to not be suitable and replacements were searched for Multicam was selected as the interim camo for use by deploying US Army Soldiers. The camo would not be issued in full scale within the US Military. With its selection for use in Afghanistan it was known as OEF Pattern. Garrison uniforms in Multicam were never made, with all Multicam uniforms issued in the US Army being fire resistant. Multicam was replaced by OCP, when it became the standard camo pattern for the US Army in 2015. Due to the similarity of Multicam and OCP the gear and equipment in those patterns, not uniforms, are commonly intermixed until widespread issue of OCP was completed.
- Ripstop Material – Ripstop is a method in which the material is woven in away to make it resistant to tearing and ripping.
- Pant Cargo Pockets – Has large pockets for bulky items on the pants legs.
- Ankle Pocket – Pants have a pocket near the cuff for small items.
- Compatible With Knee Pad Inserts – Knee pad inserts can be worn with these pants. See description for compatible inserts.
- Adjustable Pants Cuffs – Pants cuffs are adjustable with drawstrings, hook and loop tabs or other methods.
- Internal Pockets – Has Pockets on the inside for small items.
