Description
This is the vest for the ELCS system and it’s just plain awesome. Outwardly it’s a FLC and may be easy to overlook, but what it’s everything a FLC wishes it was. The vest is a LBE turned MOLLE. On the front there is tons of MOLLE webbing, which on the chest is angled in for when mag pouches are mounted. This makes it easier to draw magazines out of pouches. The belt and shoulders are padded, more so then on a FLC, and the belt has MOLLE webbing as well. The belt and shoulders can be adjusted for best fit. The vest secures to be worn with adjustable buckled straps. On the back is more MOLLE webbing. On the back at shoulder level is a MOLLE field for larger pouches to be mounted. Inside the vest, at the chest, are internal zippered pockets. Overall this is a great vest for any level of user.

- SPEAR ELCS – Part of the Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements Equipment Load Carrying Subsystem. ELCS is an older gear system used by SOF members and is comprised of everything an individual would need to complete various mission sets. Typically each pouch or piece of gear is an improved version of the standard issue equivalent, and then there are specialized pouches not found in general issue.
