IMPORTANT: Due to the age of these poncho liners we have slightly loosened our normal condition standards for Used. Used MAY INCLUDE a few SMALL holes and stains that do not impact use. They are still in fully usable condition, but just a little more salty than our standard Used Condition expectations you’ve become accustomed to.

These are early generation ERDL Woobies that have a center seam. Center seam ERDL woobie were issued during the Vietnam War so these 1970 production woobies are roughly 50 years old. While older, these are still great blankets and a great way to get a piece of ERDL gear.

This is a Poncho Liner, aka the Woobie, that is used all throughout the US Military. Back in the day it was used in conjunction with the issued Poncho to make a mostly water and wind proof field sleeping system. There are ties along the sides that allow it to integrate with a Poncho, or for it to just be tied down to whatever you need. The ripstop nylon shell is water and wind resistant, and there is a polyester batting inside. This material makes the blanket very warm for how thin and light it is, and it can stand up to some decently hard use as a result. Packing these down is easy, and they are great for use as an additional layer in a sleeping bag in colder weather. Uses also include just about anywhere you want a nice warm blanket, that’s not bulky. At around 88″ x 63″ they’re plenty big to wrap up in comfortably, wherever you take it. Great for camping, around the fire, in the house and for emergency kits. These ERDL versions are the later models without the center seam.

This is not the a poncho, this is literally just the blanket that can be used as a liner inside the poncho, there is no hole for your head in the liner.
