This is an Assault Pack sized Waterproof Liner Bag that is used in the USMC. The bag protects your gear and clothes from wet weather and can be used independent from your pack. The rubberized material is thick, so it can stand up to some pretty rough use and the interior is orange for low light visibility. You seal the bag shut with a folding top that is secured with a buckle. Around the center of the bag is an air valve. This allows the you compress gear down more tightly, which is a great improvement over the old style bags. These bags are assault pack sized, and they’ll fit in most larger 3 Day sized bags. Since they can be compressed down, when not completely full they’ll fit in some smaller ones too.
