I was waiting for the temperatures to get lower to use these because of how up and down the weather has been. But the wind and cold came and this baselayer set performed amazingly. The silk weight feel is mind boggling to me compared to the cheap cotton long johns I was used to. Definitely worth getting if you prefer light weight and less constricting feel under your already bulkier cold weather gear.

Silk weight. Classic “Ninja suit”. Very warm – you will likely overheat in any temps above 30 degrees and doing strenuous activity.

I asked for this set of Polartec thermals for hunting from my wife. My old thermals were a Hanes brand and they are no where close as a product as these. I’m comfortable in them all day, never to hot but also never to cold. Great for any hunter or outdoor enthusiasts. Very thin so it’s nice to pack up on those long trips. My wife also wears mine, that’s why I’m here writing this review because I’m buying myself another pair!

Typical level 1’s…nice material, smooth, long, warm, breathable…but the waistband stitching on two pairs has completely fallen apart after only light use. Sorry, but I would find something else.
