This is a 1 Pint Pilots Flask that is used in the US Military. The flask is normally stored and carried in Aircrew and Pilot Survival Vests, and is for use in emergency situations. With it’s small size, it is easy to carry and store in small pockets and can be tucked away for when needed most. The Flask uses a small screw cap to secure shut, and the cap is not compatible with USGI 1 Quart Canteen Caps, NBC or Standard. Overall, this is a neat little water bottle that is similar to the standard 1 Quart, just a lot smaller.

Exactly as described, brand new ; these are shaped like a flask, and are a bit softer than the 1Qt plastic canteens. Probably to cut down on precious aviation weight. PN 68C35027; H.T.P. dated 1993. Bought 3 for our go bags- I figure if a pint is good enough for a pilot, it’s good enough for me. Plus it’s lighter. Cap must be super tight to not leak, will most likely add silicone gaskets to each. Great price for a great product

Perfect for those times where i need hydration but don’t want to carry an entire hydration backpack. Fits nicely into any of the thigh pockets of my pants and can also be perfectly safe for my kiddo to have on him instead of a big bottle.
Used extensively last visit to the Philippines and even given to some of my friends there. Fit nicely even in a small messenger bag and the seal has to be super tight for there to be no leakage but that is the only annoyance with this bottle.
Superb product and even a Marine friend was surprised to learn that these existed. Ordering more for my next trip and for daily use here in the US.
