US Forest Ranger Canteen, 1 Quart

Description

This is a 1 Quart Canteen that is used by Forest Rangers, Wildland Fire Fighters and in general within the USFS. Because of this, it is also know as a GSA or USFS Canteen. These canteens are opaque in color, which makes seeing how much water you have left super easy, and have a simple screw cap top. More squared off, or rectangular depending on how you want to say it, these won’t fit securely in USGI Canteen Pouches, but are easy to carry in a backpack and larger horizontal pouches due to their shape. That shape makes packing these super easy, as multiple will fit in a sustainment pouch or large pack compartment easily and organized. Which is why we decided to carry these, these make it easy to plus up on water. Whether it’s in your pack or vehicle. Overall, this is a great alternative to a USGI 1 Quart Canteen and is lightweight and rugged enough for good hard use.
